Bacopa Monnieri Extract introduce:
Bacopa is a creeping herb of the Scrophulariaceae family, distributed in tropical areas and my country's Taiwan, Fujian, Guangdong, and Yunnan. Bacopa monnieri extract is a whole plant extract of Portulaca oleracea plant, which mainly contains triterpene saponins. It has pharmacological activities such as improving memory, sedation, anti-epileptic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic.
The powerful compounds called Bacopasides in Bacopa monnieri has the effects of boost brain function and alleviate anxiety and stress, etc. Some research indicated that it might also protect brain cells from chemicals involved in Alzheimer's disease.
Application:
1. The beneficial effects on learning and memory. Studies have shown that Bacopa monnieri and its extracts have brain-building effects. Bacopa oleracea and its ethanol extract are two active saponins of Bacopa oleracea saponins A and B. The active ingredients can not only promote normal rat learning and memory function, but also inhibit amnesia (missing memory) caused by scopolamine, electric shock and restraint stress.
