Maca Extract Introduction
Maca is an ancient plant that has been cultivated as a vegetable crop in Peru for at least 3000 years. Maca Extract contains 4 kinds of alkaloids, glucosinolates, multiple vitamins such as protein, amino acids, polysaccharides, minerals and a variety of natural plant active ingredients. Macamides is the main biologically active compound of Maca, it' s a unique type of non-polar, long-chain fatty acid N-benzylamide, which has the effects of enhancing fertility, neuroprotection, neuromodulation, anti-fatigue and anti-osteoporosis.
Maca stimulates the original functions of various organs, makes it naturally secrete various hormones required by the human body, and encourages the body to absorb and synthesize the nutrients needed by the body from the normal diet. Ethnobotanical studies document the use of maca for depression, and cancer, as well as for menstrual and sexual disorders.
