Hawthorn Extract Introduction
Hawthorn extract is extracted from hawthorn fruit, and its active ingredients are flavonoids. At present, there are more than 30 kinds of flavonoids isolated from hawthorn, mainly including flavonoid glycosides containing carbon bonds, flavonols and their glycosides, dioxyflavonoid glycosides, and polymeric flavonoids. Its appearance is brown-red or brown-yellow powder, which can strongly inhibit thyroid peroxidase, anti-cancer, antihypertensive, antibacterial, invigorating blood circulation, reducing blood lipids, inhibiting platelet aggregation and spasmolysis. Another important component is triterpenoids. In addition, hawthorn contains organic acids such as chlorogenic acid, caffeic acid and tannin, tannin, epicatechol, choline, acetylcholine, beta sitosterol, carotene. And a lot of Vit C and so on.
