Asparagus is rich in B vitamins, vitamin A and trace elements such as folate, selenium, iron, manganese and zinc. Asparagus has various amino acids that are essential for the human body.
The selenium content of asparagus is higher than that of ordinary vegetables, close to the selenium rich mushroom, and even comparable to the selenium content of sea fish and sea shrimp. Asparagus is rich in protein, vitamins, trace elements, inulin, folic acid, rutin and other ingredients.

Main Functions:
Asparagus racemosus (Shatavari) is a member of the same family as the common asparagus. There are many species of asparagus, including asparagus officinalis which has asparagosides. Our asparagus extract is standardized to contain 4% to 8% asparagosides, the key compound in asparagus. Asparagus is also rich of folic acid, nucleic acid, selenium and Asparaginase.
Asparagus racemosus is recommended in Ayurvedic texts for prevention and treatment of gastric ulcers, dyspepsia and as a galactogogue - for the production of breast milk in nursing mothers. Asparagus racemosus has also been used successfully by some Ayurvedic practitioners for nervous disorders, inflammation, liver diseases and certain infectious diseases.
Asparagus extract has galactogogue effect, antihepatotoxic and immune modulating activities. Asparagus Extract is a potent detoxifier that nutritionally supports urinary tract function.
