Gotu Kola Extract Introduction:
The extract of Gotu Kola is derived from the whole drying grass of Centella asiatica(L.) or the whole grass with root, and the extracted triterpenoid saponins. Studies have shown that gotu kola extract contains a variety of triterpenoids of alpha anorinol type, including asiaticoside, madecassoside, vitreous model glycosides etc. It has various functions such as antibacterial and anti-inflammatory, promoting the synthesis of collagen and fibroblasts etc.
Gotu Kola Extract as an ingredient is commonly known as the queen of skin care products. The reason is that it is rich in collagen, which inhibits skin relaxation, increases skin elasticity and makes skin firm. Gotu Kola Extract is a typical "healing" ingredient and is a rich source of amino acids, flavonoids, steroids, essential oils and alkaloids. The asiaticoside can activate scar fibroblasts, repair hypertrophic scars and stimulate collagen regeneration. In addition, Gotu Kola Extract can increase the tensile strength of skin and reduce stretch marks. Because Gotu Kola Extract inhibits hyaluronidase activity and prolongates the effects of hyaluronic acid, it can also improve skin hydration and increase skin barrier function when combined with hyaluronic acid.
Application:
1. Inhibiting skin relaxation, increasing skin elasticity
2. Tightening skin, promoting formation of collagen
3. Protecting skin tissue, promote wound healing, treat skin ulcers, such as refractory trauma, skin tuberculosis and leprosy
4. Anti -oxidant
5. Improving skin hydration
