Selenium is an essential trace element for human body. It has important physiological functions and is closely related to human health. Selenium can prevent and inhibit tumors, anti-aging, maintain the normal function of the cardiovascular system, and prevent the occurrence of atherosclerosis and coronary heart disease. Selenium deficiency can lead to Keshan disease and large bone nodules, cataracts, liver disease and pancreatic disease, among others.
