Polygonum Cuspidatum Extract Introduction:
Polygonum cuspidatum is a plant of polygonaceae, native to East Asia and widely distributed in China, Japan and Korea. Polygonum cuspidatum is used in traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine to treat a variety of ailments, including mold infections, various skin inflammations, cardiovascular and liver diseases.
The roots of Polygonum cuspidatum are the good source of resveratrol, and are used to produce standardized resveratrol extracts. Resveratrol is not only used to reduce platelet coagulation and tumor chemoprophylaxis, treat and prevent atherosclerosis, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, but also has a good anti-tumor effect.
