Description:
Coriolus versicolor is a mushroom used in traditional Asian herbal remedies. Coriolus versicolor are generally found on rotting trees, both standing and fallen. Coriolus versicolor was first recorded during the Ming Dynasty of China, and subsequently in a 1965 Japanese report of a patient with stomach cancer who benefited from drinking a tea, that contained this mushroom. Subsequent laboratory and animal research identified the source of the tea's anti-tumor effects to be two polysaccharides: PSK and PSP.
Main Functions:
1. Resisting bacteria anti-inflammation, it can improve immunity system;
2. Protecting liver, it can repair liver disease and liver necrosis;
3. Antitumor, it can effectively inhibit the cancer cell activity;
4. Inhibiting the formation and development of atherosclerotic.
5. With sedative effect, it can restrain central nervous system.
Application:
1. Applied in food field;
2. Applied in health product field, it is often made into tablets, which is able to improve immunity;
3. Applied in pharmaceutical field, it can treat and persist chronic bronchitis.
